We hope these frequently asked questions will answer any queries you may have, however, if there is anything not covered here then please contact us for further information.
 
Q: How do I order with Silent Spring?

A: Beneath the description of each item you will see a drop down menu to choose colours or sizes simply click on the size or colour you would like and then click "add to basket" you will then be taken to a new page to confirm your choice and then either click "go to checkout" to confirm your order and pay or "continue shopping" to make more selections. You can check your order at any time by clicking "view basket" at the bottom of the page. All payments are proccessed by paypal to ensure that your card details remain confidential. Alternatively you can email your order to us at lynseygilmore@silentspring.co.uk or contact us for a mail order catalogue and order forms.

 
Q: How much is postage and packing?

A: We calculate postage and packaging on the value of your order as shown below:

The postage and packing costs are automatically added to online orders.
 
We try to ensure our packaging is either recycled or comes from renewable sources or ideally we reuse packaging that has been sent to us. Where possible we try to have products sent directly to you from our suppliers thus reducing miles travelled and helping us to minimise our impact on the environment. For this reason your order may arrive in one or more parcels however you will not be charged any extra for this.
 
Q: When will my order be sent?

A: Your order will be sent as soon as possible either by Royal Mail or courier service and most orders will be dispatched within 48 hours unless stated otherwise in the product description. In any event we will email you confirmation of your order and update you when your order has been dispatched.We do ask that you allow 14 days for delivery however if you require earlier delivery please contact us and we will do our best to help.
 
Q: What happens if an item is out of stock?

A: Occassionally an item may be on order from our suppliers or no longer available. If this happens then we will email you to inform you as soon as possible and dispatch your items as soon as possible, if it is part of a larger order then we will send the items that are in stock and send the remaining items when they become available. If the items are no longer available then we will offer you an alternative or a refund.
 
Q: What do I do if I change my mind?

A: We are sure that you will be delighted with your order from Silent Spring. However, if within 7 days of receiving your order you change your mind, please firstly send us an email to lynseygilmore@silentspring.co.uk to obtain a returns authorisation code. Once you have received this, please return your order, in its original condition, with all tags intact, and all packaging, and we will exchange your order, or refund the purchase price. We regret we are unable to refund any postage costs. Please ensure you obtain a free proof of posting from the post office, as we cannot accept any responsibility for items lost in the post.
 
Q: What if an item is faulty?

A: We carefully check all our items to ensure there are no problems before we send them to you. If an item has been damaged in the post, please let us know as soon as possible, so that we investigate this with our courier.
